About
F.T.L.L. (For The Love of Laila) was born after my daughter, Laila, lost one of her grandmothers and great grandmothers within a 10 month timeframe to cancer. I began to think of the love that she would not be able to experience due to a disease that affects so many families and lives. During this time, I began to reflect on the loved ones I have personally lost to this disease. The types of cancer vary, but the one thing that is the same for all forms is that early detection is key. Our goal as an organization is to focus on awareness. Early warning signs that may seem like nothing could save a life if a physician is notified. If the money we raise or the information that we provide helps one person receive an early detection then we have made a difference in this fight.

M712 (Matthew 7:12) - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets) is a concept that was placed in my heart in 2012. While the name was initially thought to serve as an entertainment purpose, the scripture it is founded upon is rooted in bringing mankind together. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the vision was revealed to me that my passion was bigger than an occasional donation or walk-a-thon. The name that was in my mind so often was now connected to a purpose. M712, under the F.T.L.L. umbrella, is my personal passion to assist those affected by mental illness. Just as it is with cancer, mental illness is a treatable disease, but often goes undiagnosed due to fear of ridicule or lack of support. The goal is still early detection and while early detection may not cure a mental illness it can help get that person back on track to living a successful life.
Fortunately Laila does not suffer from either illness but like us all, her life is connected to the lives of others...
Mission Statement
Our commitment is to raise awareness and funds for two worthy causes, cancer awareness and mental health awareness. All of the funds raised through events and donations will be divided between charities for both causes unless a donation is for a specific cause. The charity names will change from time to time as we go forward but the causes will remain the same.
Obviously the main way to support a charity is to donate money. Your financial support allows more awareness pamphlets and research to be done to ensure that less people struggle with getting the necessary diagnoses as soon as possible. Whether $1 or $100, it all goes to these special causes. If you are not in a place financially where you can donate now, have no fear as we will have more events to raise money and the links on our page will be available 24 hours a day.
